We are currently representing an innovative and growing organisation in their search for a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy and performance across the business.
Based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, this position offers hybrid working flexibility and a competitive salary of £50,000 to £60,000, depending on experience.
About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Business Partner will support key business functions by delivering insightful financial analysis, driving cost efficiencies, and partnering with stakeholders to enhance commercial decision-making. You’ll be a crucial player in helping the business achieve its growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with departmental heads and senior stakeholders to provide financial insights that guide strategic decisions.
- Analyse trends and business drivers to support revenue growth initiatives.
- Drive cost control and identify opportunities for efficiency across the business.
- Lead on improvements and automation in reporting and financial processes.
- Deliver meaningful performance reports and present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Develop cost models to support pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Contribute to month-end reporting with accurate and timely financial data.
- Promote financial awareness and accountability throughout the organisation.
What We’re Looking For
- Professionally qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), part-qualified, or QBE/stopped studiers will also be considered.
- Proven experience in a similar finance role—experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, ideally applied in a commercial setting.
- Excellent Excel skills; experience with Power BI and Microsoft Business Central is a bonus.
- Able to present complex financial data clearly to non-financial audiences.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to challenge and influence key decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable approach to work.
